Project Overview
Custom Kitchen Remodeling in Vienna, VA
Project Goal
This custom kitchen remodel in Vienna, VA was built around two equally important priorities: stunning design and exceptional storage. The homeowners wanted a kitchen that looked like it belonged in an architectural magazine — with dramatic surfaces, bold navy accents, and a seamless marble aesthetic — while also functioning as the most organized and efficient kitchen they had ever used. Every cabinet, every drawer, and every inch of space was planned with intention. Dulles Kitchen & Bath designed a fully custom solution that delivers on both fronts, proving that beauty and practicality don't have to be a trade-off.
Materials Used
The kitchen features a white and grey two-tone shaker cabinet scheme anchored by a custom navy blue range hood and matching navy floating shelves that bring bold color and architectural character to the cooking wall. Full-slab calacatta marble quartz runs seamlessly across all countertops and the entire backsplash, creating a dramatic, uninterrupted surface of white and gold veining. Inside the cabinetry, the storage is equally impressive — a pull-out spice rack, full-height pull-out pantry shelves, and a built-in pull-out trash and recycling unit ensure that every item has its place. Brushed nickel hardware, an undermount sink, pendant lighting, and wood-look LVP flooring complete the refined, cohesive finish throughout.
The Result
The finished kitchen is a masterful balance of high design and high function. The floor-to-ceiling calacatta marble quartz backsplash paired with the custom navy hood creates a focal wall of rare visual impact, while the two-tone cabinetry and floating shelves add layers of depth and personality throughout the space. Behind closed doors, the custom interior storage solutions — pull-out pantry, spice rack, and built-in trash cabinet — make daily life in the kitchen effortlessly organized. This project stands as one of our finest examples of what a truly custom kitchen remodel in Vienna, VA can achieve when design vision and functional planning are given equal priority from the very first conversation.
